God loves us
When walking thru the day, I find myself asking why. Why did this happen or did this have to happen. Our daily walk can
sometimes bring us thru some very trying times. But then I remember God is watching all and everything. He is a loving
God who cares about us.
Psalm 147:4-5 (KJV)
4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
John 3:16 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If people ask me why. I explain that sin came into the world we sinned and did not obey God. Sin has caused a lot of
suffering. But God has delivered us from sin and has redeemed us by paying for our sin when His Son Yeshua died on the
cross and was raised victoriously on the third day as He said He would. We are God’s children in His image and He wants
us forever with Him. This gift of salvation is not earned it is by grace.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 6:3-10 (KJV)
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Luke 18:31-33 (KJV)
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
Ephesians 1:4-5 (KJV)
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Ephesians 1:6 (KJV)
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Genesis 1:27 (KJV)
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Ephesians 2:4-7 (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:28-29 (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren
He knew we would sin. Genesis 3 Adam and Eve made some very bad choices in the beginning and they didn’t trust God.
Sin has caused a lot of suffering. But God is gracious to us through His Son redeeming us, atoning for our sin and making
us heirs with Him for His glory
Romans 8:16-17 (KJV)
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Galatians 5:1 (KJV)
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:13-14 (KJV)
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
We are never alone
Do you feel alone? If you feel isolated and unloved go to a quiet place and open your heart to God. He will be there to listen
and reveal to you how much He loves you and that He is always there for you.
So many times I have heard people say just look over your shoulder and I will be there. Or if you call I will answer. These
people often times are saying these things out of a kind place. They mean to be there, but honestly no one can say that but
someone who is eternal, omnipresent and all knowing. Only God can say He will always be there for you and me. When he
answers prayer it is often by revealing something to us. He always answers.
John 16:24 (KJV)
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Matthew 7:7 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
If you don’t feel he has, it is because our eyes can become covered spiritually by the things of this world take care to keep
your eyes and ears and heart open to Him and He will not forsake you. Sometimes we think we are doing the right thing by
holding onto something that God wants us to release. Things of this world can often look very good or appealing but they
aren’t good for us. Sometimes people we know or things of this world are blocking the way for us to go to God for answers.
Look to God and share what He has given to people around us. Keep a loose hand on things of this world. Go to God He
will show you how to turn bad into good and if you feel tired or exhausted and that nothing is bearing good fruit, that’s
okay. Sometimes thru prayer God finds another way to change the situation or person or circumstance.
People have asked “where is God?” He is here He is Spirit. He is in heaven and is waiting for the kingdom to become
complete and then He is coming for us. When I pray I thank God that He loves me. No matter where I am I can look to Him
and find Him. If I am attacked by hate, darkness or fear I take action. I go to God in prayer and He gives me love, light and
peace. He wants to give that to you, all you have to do is listen to Him when He answers.
