Yeshua Hamashiach is my Lord and Savior.
Hi, my name is Gwen Jacobsen. I believe that Yeshua Hamashiach, is the Lamb of God, the only begotten Son of the Living God Yahweh. That Yeshua came to redeem us and bring us salvation by His body and blood on the cross giving us eternal life and atoning for our sin through His death and resurrection on the third day. Thank You Lord, Yeshua.
I have started and maintain this website because I saw a need, for others and myself, where we can find encouragement and answers to important questions. The Holy Spirit whom I have received by faith gives me love, truth, peace, joy and hope. The love and truth that He has given me, I desire to share with all people.
The Word of God, the Bible, has all the answers for us. Let us all read and study His Word daily. Also a local church can provide a place of worship, stewardship, friendship, and fellowship, but I saw a need for an immediate place to give direction and encouragement to us in our daily walk here on earth.
May the Lord bless you and be encouraged by the words on this website. Rejoice He is Alive.
The following scripture is worthy and true.
John 1:29 (KJV)
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 10:27-30 (KJV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
1 Peter 1:18-20 (KJV)
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
John 11:25 (KJV)
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Luke 9:22-24 (KJV)
22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Acts 4:31 (KJV)
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
I would like to share one of my earliest experiences with my Lord.
I hope everyone understands and appreciates what I am about to say because it may help some that need to feel closer or want to be brought closer to God. At 5 years of age, I was in the nursery, maybe I was younger, but this is what happened. We were in an overcrowded room and impatient people were taking care of us. Children that were younger than me were scolded because they were upset about our treatment and conditions. I remember asking the adults in the room if I could help. I have always wanted to help children in need and also the elderly. Because of a medical condition at the time, I was allowed to go out to the hallway bathroom alone after asking the people in charge. When I was in the hallway, I saw a beautiful picture of Jesus and the children. He was sitting in an area of grass and flowers with children all around Him and He was smiling. I stood there in the hallway and asked from my heart, “God are You real?” And to the best of my explanation, I heard Him say behind me “yes I am.” I had a vision there, of a place where Jesus was sitting on a hill of grass and flowers. I ran to Him, but He was preaching to some people, and He put His hand up gently for me to sit down and listen with the others. He had loving joyful countenance on His face, but I felt that I had interrupted or had done something wrong but instantly I was given the knowledge that in sitting down quietly I had done something good and the others around me looked at me in love and kindness, Jesus continued preaching to us after a while I opened my eyes and I knew from then on that God is real His love is real I love Him and trust Him. It was a miracle is all I can say, and I have done many things that do not deserve the love of God, but I know He loves me anyway and I want to serve Him because of who He is, and He loves me as I am.
As a young adult I went back to the hallway and sure enough placed at a height where a small child could see there on the wall was the picture I saw earlier in my life. I thanked God for His love for me, and I thank Him again now for His love for you and me.
Today many years later that vision is as clear and real to me as the day I received it at around 5 years of age. Many experiences since then have happened visions, deliverances, healings and times of learning but as Paul writes in Romans 8 nothing can separate us from the love of God. He loves you and me, we are His children, His disciples and He holds us close like when Moses said God’s hand was over Him on the mountain when he received the 10 commandments. Cling to God, run to Him, for He shelters us and loves us. If you have any doubt what you need to do is, go to a quiet place and ask Him for understanding, wait, open your heart and let go of the things of this world. He will show Himself to you. Sometimes I may have a block put up and not even know it and even then, I trust Him because it is not about me it is about Him.
I trust and am sure of God’s love it is indescribable but true.
Romans 8:33-39 (KJV)
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Exodus 33:18-22 (KJV)
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
Visions dreams and experiences I have had.
