Sincerity
I want to encourage believers that we are not of this world and we in and of ourselves are not perfect. But we can always go to our Lord and listen to the Holy Spirit that speaks to our hearts. We need to understand that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
Do you ever find yourself looking forward to a vacation, a get together, an adventure outing like shopping or going to a restaurant and alike and come out of it saying I didn’t expect that or disappointed in the experience and then have someone say that wasn’t very Christ like. The Lord knows our weaknesses and our intent and if we don’t measure up to the worlds view of what a Christian should be like, there are some things to consider. Did you get angry and lose your temper or did you just look disappointed and didn’t put on a smiley face. There is a difference, we all have disappointments, but God says “26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” Ephesians 4:26 (KJV). We are to hate evil and cling to that which is good. Do not be impatient, remember God loved us while we were yet sinners. What matters is what God says. Because God came to save us wretched creatures. He is perfect, He is omnipotent, He is righteous, and we depend on Him. “Do your best and trust God for the rest” brothers and sisters in Christ have told me, I agree. Also, God loves you as you are. Trust Him for all good things. Serve Him and others, keep pressing on, keep sharing, keep preaching, and keep loving. Peace
