\n18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

\n20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
\n21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
\n22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect\u2019s sake those days shall be shortened.
\n23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
\n24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

\n26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

\n44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
\n45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
\n46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
\n47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
\n48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
\n49 And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
\n50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
\n51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.<\/p>\n

\n10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
\n11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
\n12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
\n13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
\n14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
\n15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

\n8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
\n9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
\n10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
\n11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
\n12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
\n13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
\n14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
\n15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
\n16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
\n17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
\n18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.<\/p>\n
