\n11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
\n12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.<\/p>\n
\n6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
\n7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
\n8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.<\/p>\n
\n11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
\n12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
\n13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.<\/p>\n
\n14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
\n15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.<\/p>\n
\n20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.<\/p>\n
\nWhen they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.<\/p>\n
\nAnd the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:<\/p>\n
\nFor godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.<\/p>\n
\n5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;<\/p>\n

\n30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.<\/p>\n
\n24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
\n2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
\n3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
\n4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
\n5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
\n6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
\n7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
\n8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
\n9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
\n10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
\n11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
\n12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
\n13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
\n14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
\n15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
\n16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
\n17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
\n18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
\n19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
\n20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
\n21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
\n22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
\n23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
\n24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
\n25 Behold, I have told you before.
\n26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
\n27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
\n28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
\n29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
\n30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
\n31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
\n32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
\n33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
\n34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
\n35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
\n36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
\n37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
\n38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
\n39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
\n40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
\n41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
\n42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
\n43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
\n44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
\n45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
\n46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
\n47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
\n48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
\n49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
\n50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
\n51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.<\/p>\n
\n8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
\n9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
\n10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
\n11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.<\/p>\n
\n10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.<\/p>\n
\n19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
\n20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
\n21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
\n22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
\n23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.<\/p>\n
\n20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
\n21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
\n22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
\n23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ\u2019s at his coming.
\n24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
\n25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
\n26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
\n27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
\n28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.<\/p>\n
\n42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
\n43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
\n44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
\n45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
\n46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
\n47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
\n48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
\n49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
\n50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
\n51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
\n52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
\n53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
\n54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
\n55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
\n56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
\n57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
\n58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.<\/p>\n
