Friend

What a wonderful word. What is a friend? Someone you know? A buddy? Someone that stands by you when you fail, when you hurt, when you succeed or when you are happy or just when you want to have fun or relax? Yes, I would say so. Most of us have friends and have had friends that are gone because of passing on or distance. If you are hurting because someone is gone. Take care.

It hurts when a good friend is gone either by passing on or with distance. Know that if they have passed away and have accepted Yeshua the Son of God as their Lord and Savior they are in a better place. But there are things we can do to help with sorrow. Make new friends or give to others.

It’s okay to hurt its part of the healing process and the hurt does go away if you let it. Do you think your friend would want to see you hurting? They would probably appreciate how much you care about them but no they would like to see you happy.

There is a season of giving and a season of sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 (KJV)
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

John 15:15 (KJV)
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
